Chicago (Febuary 23, 2012 ) – PuroClean, a property emergency restoration company in Chicago, has partnered with its national network of 300 franchise offices to support the American Red Cross as a member of the Red Cross Disaster Responder Program.
PuroClean will provide support to the Disaster Responder Program by donating on an ongoing basis, in advance of major disasters, to help the Red Cross ensure an immediate response to meet the needs of those affected by disasters of all sizes, at no cost and regardless of income. As a partner with the American Red Cross, PuroClean of Chicago will have the distinct privilege of incorporating the American Red Cross Disaster Responder Program logo on all collateral and vehicles within its fleet.
The partnership between the American Red Cross and the restoration company is a natural fit because both organizations’ mission is to support victims of disaster and effectively respond to the needs of those affected by working to restore their livelihoods to pre-disaster state.
“The American Red Cross and PuroClean have consistently been at the forefront of disaster preparedness – whether it is providing emotional, physical and material support,” said Scott Majeski, owner of PuroClean of Chicago. “As a member of the Disaster Responder program, we are helping to ensure that immediate relief for victims of disaster is met time and again.”
Each year, PuroClean performs more than 50,000 jobs throughout the US by providing restoration services from common household mishaps to large scale disasters. PuroClean Chicago offers emergency clean up, restoration and repair services including fire and smoke damage, water damage, flood water removal, and mold and mildew removal.
“Companies like PuroClean understand that proper supplies and systems have to be in place to respond effectively,” said Scott Majeski of the American Red Cross. “With pre-positioned supplies ready, the Red Cross can immediately take action when hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, wildfires and other disasters strike.”
Generous gifts from Disaster Responder members offset a range of expenses in the wake of domestic disasters including warehouse supplies, shelter and feeding costs, deploying a fleet of disaster response vehicles and reconnecting individuals separated during disaster.
